For care providers, we accomplish this by applying the same process organizations use when offering accreditation to healthcare agencies.

  • First we check the organization on multiple levels including license and regulatory performance.
  • Next we run a background check using government and FBI lists to ensure the company and its principle ownership are clear of any fraudulent or criminal activity.
  • Finally we meet each provider face-to-face, tour their offices and facilities to evaluate service and make certain they meet industry best practices.

On the product side, we review products for their quality. We rank products based on their performance to expectations, design and build quality, and customer satisfaction, as determined by our in-house review committee and feedback from our user community.

All this screening means that the providers on SeniorCareSherpa.com not only provide the best products and services,  but also operate with the highest ethical standards.

There is no ongoing cost to becoming a Sherpa Certified provider. We do charge a $149 application fee to cover the background checks and validation process. In return, all we ask of the providers we recommend is that they maintain the best standards in the industry. The absence of ongoing fees means Senior Care Sherpa’s put your best interest ahead of the bottom line.  A refreshing approach in today’s healthcare industry.

We have searched carefully for providers who were willing to become Sherpa Certified. Our list contains providers for every service a senior or caregiver may need to maintain a healthy and independent lifestyle. Remember we don’t accept referral fees so it is an exclusive list.
